To say that my life is chaos would be an understatement. I have two lovely children that I raise, with help from my mother and grandmother. They, alone, keep me on my toes. Mischief does not even begin to describe my little merry-makers. With the bundles of chaos in my life, I have little time for anything else. I like to think that I have hobbies, and perhaps I have a few, such as reading, writing, creating jewelry or small fanciful beaded things that may or may not qualify as jewelry. I enjoy spending time with my friends, and a certain someone that has managed to claim a good portion of my time lately.

Question: General insight to my spirit guide
Deck: Rahrig
Layout: Spirit Guide

1. Queen of Disks
2. Knight of Disks
3. Prince of Disks
4. Princess of Cups
5. 6 of Swords (Science)

I can see right away that this deals with the physical or financial aspects of things. Which, currently, makes perfect sense. I see also that there's a lot of court cards involved - all in the disks. Not sure what that would pertain to, really, but it seems significant.

Queen of Disks:
My impressions: Maturity, nourishment.
Keywords: (learntarot.com)
NURTURING
BIGHEARTED
DOWN-TO-EARTH
RESOURCEFUL
TRUSTWORTHY

(paranormality.com) A capable and practical businesswoman, who enjoys her material comforts. She has a responsible attitude to her wealth and uses it to advance the fortunes of those in her inner circle. She is neither particularly bright nor insightful, but has depth of feeling, with an appreciation of life's pleasures.

My spirit guide is someone who's good with finances. She's able to enjoy the wealth she's worked to achieve without squandering it away. She's down to earth and trustworthy.

King of Disks:
My impressions: Mature, strong, wise, financial investments

Keywords:
ENTERPRISING
ADEPT
RELIABLE
SUPPORTING
STEADY

A loyal and dependable leader who is neither particularly intelligent or imaginative. He is trustworthy, patient, cautious and uses his inborn wisdom to increase his wealth. He is slow to lose his temper, but once angered he stands rigid against his enemies.

I'm guessing from the traits displayed that my spirit guide is here to teach me how to manage my finances better. (ahem). Perhaps a lesson in creating (and sticking to) a budget is necessary.

Prince of Disks:
My impression: Young, strong, just beginning to mature, full of ideas

Keywords:

UNWAVERING..........STUBBORN
CAUTIOUS..........UNADVENTUROUS
THOROUGH..........OBSESSIVE
REALISTIC..........PESSIMISTIC
HARDWORKING..........GRINDING

An impassive, indifferent and stoical person, who does not always appreciate the feelings of others. A very traditional person who is clever in monetary affairs, patient and hardworking.

What she is here to teach me is to be more diligent in my planning for finances. I have to work hard and be patient.

Princess of Cups:
My impressions: Freedom, self-confidence

Keywords:
BE EMOTIONAL
BE INTUITIVE
BE INTIMATE
BE LOVING

A symbol of Imagination. May indicate a time for quiet reflection. Depending upon surrounding cards: a messenger bringing news of an engagement, marriage or birth. A reflective, poetic, quiet and artistic person, gentle and kind. A person with a wealth of knowledge, giving freely his advice. A person gifted with much foresight.

I need to be more self confident and stop second guessing myself, or the situation.

6 of Swords:
My impression: Finding a way through the maze, finding your own path to success

Keywords:
THE BLUES
RECOVERY
TRAVEL

Gradual change, movement or travel away form difficulty or imminent danger. The solution of current problems. Long journeys and passage from pain. Obstacles that are overcome

If I make it through this, I'll move away from the brink of financial disaster - or at least the feeling of being there. I'll have a bit more money, and a little bit of "room".

In summary:
My spirit guide is a woman who is strong, good with finances. She's down to earth and trustworthy. She's worked hard and can enjoy the wealth she's accumulated without overindulgence.
She's here to teach me to be more frugal in things, to work hard and be patient. What I want will come, I just have to wait for it and not overindulge. I need to be more aware of my finances, and how I spend my money. In order to move past this, I have to be more confident in my own abilities to learn, to budget, etc. I have to stop second guessing my situation, and myself. If I can do that, then I can move to a period of financial comfort.

Question: Should onyx wait for her current collar?
Deck: Rahrig
Layout: Yes/No - 3 piles of up to 13, stopping at aces

Justice
Queen of Swords
Ace of Disks

The answer is "no". The reading indicates that the other character or player is trying to find balance in things, which will ultimately lead to an unveiling of truths - and likely not some nice ones.
It seems that my lil onyx should be on her own for awhile. Which, even should I choose the other collar, it won't happen right away - which is good.
I hate to let this collar go, as I do enjoy the rp the player and I have. But, I haven't seen him in at least 6 months. I've sent mail through the game system, but haven't heard anything back. I guess it comes down to doing what you have to.

Question: Should onyx (rp character) be collared by someone?
Deck: Rahrig
Layout - Yes/No - 3 piles of up to 13 cards, aces are "yes"

Ace of Disks
10 of Swords (Ruin)
Knight of Wands
Card at bottom of deck (just felt like it) - Death

Knight of Wands:
A lover of action, this is the card of someone who has a well-liked, energetic, confident, but sometimes unpredictable nature. He has an engaging temperament and his actions sometimes a little swift do tend to make sense with hindsight.

The funny thing is, this describes the other character to a tee. So, the answer is "no"...the reason being that it would lead onyx to some sort of ruin because the other character is so volatile. It'll lead to a fundamental change in onyx, over time. Ironically, the card under the 10 of Swords is 2 of Swords, which indicates peace.
This doesn't mean the collar won't happen, just that the cards don't feel it -should-. The lovely thing about this is its not my life. Bwahahahaha. I think it'll be fun to have her collared to him, but there's another factor involved. She's currently collared to another. I'm not sure I want her fundamentally changed, but on the other hand it could be fun.
I'm going to do a couple other things before making my decision, but this helped clear a few things up as far as the dynamics go.

This one is for relationships. I like it.

4
1 2 3

1) will illustrate what influences brought you together; the kind of state you were in that drew you to them.
2) will illustrate the feelings they arouse in you. It's useful to have a handle on these things, even if you think you already know what they are.
3) The natral culmination of this relationship (even if it is ongoing) - what this relationship leaves you with. How it has added (hopefully not subtracted from) your life
4) The one thing that defines the relationship for you, the symbol of the relationship. The kind of 'landmark' for you that it is/was.

New Layout

I found this on http://www.tarotforum.net/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=56

Its a 7 card layout for a general reading:

.....................7.................
........................6...................
......................5.....................
.1........2..................3........4...

The cards are layed out in a pyramid type shape. For space, I made an adjustment and put 5 & 6 in the same column:

****7*****
****5****6***
**1***2***3***4****

I did not vary positional meanings any.

1. Home / Family
2. Relationships
3. career / job
4. finances
5. Achievements so far
6. Energies around you
7. Lesson to be learned

Question: What do I need to know for my day?
Deck: Rahrig
Layout: 3 cards – deck cut into 3 piles
Meaning source: The Smart Girl’s Guide to Tarot

Prince of Swords
Temperance
7 of Swords (Futility)

Prince of Swords:
Proceed with caution.

Temperance:
Self-restraint, Frugality, Patience

7 of Swords:
Start of a plan – fragile stages. Don’t mistake for dream fulfillment

I think the book meaning fits better with the other cards. Though, the card meaning does make sense as well, to some degree.

With any new plan I may make, I should practice a little self-restraint and patience, proceed with caution and hopefully be able to avoid futility.

The suit of swords is all about power. How you influence other people and how you use your own power…and today, it appears as if its mostly in my control.

Question: What do I need to know for today?
Deck: Rahrig
Layout: 3 card - cut the deck 3 times

2 of Cups (Love)
The Judgement
4 of Disks (Power)

Judgement:
Changes and improvements. Satisfactory outcome to a specific matter or period of life. Joy in accomplishment. Awakening. Rebirth. A good time for career moves. renewed, health, vitality and mental clarity. Sometimes indicates important pending decisions that will change the pattern of life for the better.

2 of Cups:
Affection, love, the beginnings of a new romance, partnership or friendship. Emotional affinity, sympathy, joyous harmony, the reconciliation of opposites in mutual trust. Resolved differences.

I read the traditional meaning for the 4 of Disks, but I think the card indication fits better.

Today, there will be some changes and improvements. It seems though, that this would be for the positive.

Question: What I need to know about someone
Deck: Rahrig
Layout: 3 card - deck cut into 3 piles (italicized titles are the cards beneath top cards)

7 of Cups (Debauch)
Prince of Disks
Ace of Swords
The Moon

The moon is all about intuition to me, seeing things that aren't necessarily visible. But, I'm not exactly sure how the cards fit together - the others are unclear to me. Except for the 7 of cups, with "debauch" written on it, it speaks to me of self-indulgence.

Prince of Disks:
An impassive, indifferent and stoical person, who does not always appreciate the feelings of others. A very traditional person who is clever in monetary affairs, patient and hardworking

Ace of Swords:
Total and complete change of mind. In its purest form the ace is symbolic of strongly constituted authority, and pursuit of ultimate truth. Triumph, victory and success, a rebirth and a new beginning.

The Moon:
Imagination. Dreams and psychic impressions. Sometimes psychic work. Illusions. Inability to see things clearly sometimes resulting in personal depression. Sometimes signifies fiction writing or acting, particularly work in the entertainment industry. Losing control of one's daily life. The unconscious mind.

Given the person in question - the 'traditional' meanings make a little more sense. This person is traditional, maybe even a bit on the stoic side. Someone who doesn't always consider how others feel - past examples have been given, so it fits. On the other hand, this person is trying to change his outlook on things mentally if not emotionally. In this, thoughts can sometimes get clouded and hard to read, which can lead to a 'funk' or personal depression - which has also been seen in small doses.

For my own side - I need to be aware that while this person is making an effort to change, they can be a little insensitive to things in my world. A personal funk may skew their view on things - something to keep in mind when dealing with said person.

Question: What do I need to know for today?
Deck: Rahrig
Layout: 3 card layout - cut the deck into 3 piles

Top cards from left to right:

The Tower
Princess of Wands
The High Priestess

The day is definately not as much in my control as I'd like to think. There are some big, sudden changes in the air, confirmed by the "change" (2 of disks) beneath the tower card. Lots of feminine energy at work, indicated by the Princess and Priestess. The changes that are coming may be linked with intuition. Lately I have been questioning intuition - based on something someone told me about someone. I've been questioning my own, as well as other people's.
Perhaps I'm due for some insight.

Traditional meaning for Princess (Page) of Wands:
A trustworthy, reliable young person, with an inborn desire to bring happiness, excitement and light to those around. This person is a messenger of good news and witty gossip. A person who is faithful in service to superiors.

Perhaps the changes I face are, in the end, good ones. The tower doesn't always bode "well", in that it seems to be sudden and often traumatic. Beneath the Priestess is the Prince of Swords - a suit of logical thought.

Traditional meaning Prince (Knight) of Swords:
A clever, skillful and active person, courageous and strong, always at his best in a difficult situation. He may have a tendency to dominate and depending upon surrounding cards, his movement may be either in or out of the querent's life for either better or worse. He is the archetypal warrior

So, the intuition may be in regards to someone who's routinely in and out of my life? Or, maybe, someone who's going to be. That could be one of a few people...but, definately a male. I have been questioning things on my ex lately, maybe this is all in regard to my feelings about him...and about what's happening in regards to him.
Beneath the Princess is Judgement.

A judgement is about to be rendered, bringing about a change that's sudden and perhaps traumatic. If I trust my intuition on the men in my life, and plan accordingly, it should end well.

As always, comments and insights are welcome.
