To say that my life is chaos would be an understatement. I have two lovely children that I raise, with help from my mother and grandmother. They, alone, keep me on my toes. Mischief does not even begin to describe my little merry-makers. With the bundles of chaos in my life, I have little time for anything else. I like to think that I have hobbies, and perhaps I have a few, such as reading, writing, creating jewelry or small fanciful beaded things that may or may not qualify as jewelry. I enjoy spending time with my friends, and a certain someone that has managed to claim a good portion of my time lately.

Queen of Wands - Gilded Tarot

I was shuffling my deck of cards while on the phone today. This card was "left behind" - as in it didn't exactly leap from the deck, but rather seemed to be the last card and didn't move when I picked up the others.
I've always been told to pay attention to these sort of cards - a message is trying to be communicated. Something that I need to know/learn or just generally pay attention to. I also checked out my course. I've been stalling on the current lesson I'm on because it requires meditation time, which I haven't been able to devote to. On the other hand, I want to learn the cards and not have to look up the meanings in a book all the time. In this vein, when a card pops out I'm going to note my impressions of it.

So, now onto the card of the subject.

Queen of Wands -

She's tall and proud. Very regal in her stance. The wand is held close to her, the "head" to the right side of her body, pointing upward slightly. The colors are rich golds and purples. The dress is golds and her cape is purple. There's a pillar next to her with a globe in flames on the crown. This speaks of action, passion.
She's looking forward, the storm behind her. She impresses me as wise - one who knows through victory of the battle. She's not afraid to strike, if needed. She's someone who's willing to take action, and generally knows what actions to take. She's confident in who she is, where she's been and where she's going.
